Here for the first time is a power feed sawbench specifically engineered to bring all the economy of power ripsawing as a cost that is little more than for a pushbench.
In this case ripping speeds up to 45.7 metres per minute (150 feet per minute) are obtained from a simple yet extremely efficient power feed unit designed as an integral part of the machine. The unit is powerful enough to feed any class of timber up to 125 mm (5 in) deep and produce sawing to a high standard of accuracy.
Rise and fall saw, table 1065 x 990 mm (42" x 39"). Six feed speeds 8.5 - 45.7 m/min (28 - 150 fpm). Two motors (8.62 kW (11.5 HP) to the saw spindle) (3 phase). Capacity when hand feeding: 505 mm (20") max saw to fence, cuts 180 mm (7") deep. Capacity when power feeding: 200 mm (8") max saw to fence, cuts 125 mm (5") deep.
