The machine has been designed to give the maximum benefit from multi-ripping with the minimum of outlay. Built on compact powerful modern lines it is capable of multi or single rip sawing to limits of accuracy normally associated with larger and more expensive equipment.
The machine is quickly changed from multi to single sawing using either tungsten carbide tipped saws for thin saw kerfs and long runs with minimum saw attention, or for standard rip saw blades.
Four power driven rollers, each spring loaded permitting a variance of 10 mm to the thickness of timber being fed, 2-speed motor and gearbox give feed speeds 4.5 - 40 m/min (15 - 130 fpm). The saw spindle (below table) will carry up to twelve blades 305 - 405 mm (12" to 16") diameter, mounted on a sleeve. Max depth of cut 115 mm (4.5"), usable l;ength of saw spindle 205 mm (8.125"), distance saw to fence 305 mm (12"). 30 kW (40 HP).
