Wadkin K23 K25 Planer Moulder
The Wadkin K range of six head moulders have a fast changeover capability, greater output and offer outstanding value for money. The K range has an impressive array of stanard features and is designed for safety and ease of operation. all controls are conveniently located in-line on the front panel to enable fine adjustments to be made without having to stop the moulder.
Super precision spindles deliver the highest quality surface finish and heavy futy cast iron frame makes light work of heavy jobs. The range includes two standard models, the K23 and K25. They are siz head moulders with two top heads and offer a choice of finished width capacities of 230 mm (K23) or 250 mm (K25).

K23 - WITH STRAIGHTENING - Head sequence: Bottom, fence side, near side, top, second top and second bottom. Through feed works and 2 metre straightening table with pneumatically linked infeed driven bed rollers plus full width driven bed rollers throughout machine. Max finished work size 230 x 120 mm. Infinitely variable feed speeds 6 - 36 m/min powered by a 4 kW (5.5 HP) motor through electronic inverter (beltless). Cardan shaft drive. Digital readouts to spindle movements, power rise and fall to top beam and pressures. Pneumatic feed works and bed lubrication. Seven motors 7.5 kW (10 HP) to first bottom, 15 kW (20 HP) shared between both side heads, 11.2 kW (15 HP) each to both top heads and second bottom. (3 phase).
K25 - (SHORT INFEED) - Head sequence: Bottom, fence side, near side, top, second top and second bottom. Through feed works and short infeed table with pneumatically linked infeed driven bed rollers plus full width driven bed rollers throughout machine. Max finished work size 250 x 120 mm. Infinitely variable feed speeds 6 - 36 m/min powered by a 4 kW (5.5 HP) motor through electronic inverter (beltless). Cardan shaft drive. Digital readouts to spindle movements, power rise and fall to top beam and pressures. Pneumatic feed works and bed lubrication. Seven motors 7.5 kW (10 HP) to first bottom, 15 kW (20 HP) shared between both side heads, 15 kW (20 HP) each to both top heads and second bottom. (3 phase).
