Daltons Wadkin announce an all new 5-Axis CNC Machining Centre from Italian manufacturers Greda which is designed for maximum versatility and brings 5-axis capability to space sensitive applications, occupying a working space of less than 9 square metres.
An all new forward looking website is now on line which features a diverse range of services currently represented by Wadkin under the stewardship of new owners Daltons Wadkin as well as recognising past achievements.
Daltons Wadkin, owners of Wadkin and manufacturers of a range of original Wadkin classical machine designs, have announced their intention to increase the number of products bearing the Wadkin name to include equipment manufactured for them in Europe.
After talks with Daltons Wadkin including site meetings in Aberdeen during 2009, a contract was placed with the Nottingham based woodworking machinery distributors and manufacturers to provide new machinery to meet the college’s relocation and expansion plans.
When specialist woodworking machinery distributors and manufacturers Daltons purchased the IPR for Wadkin at the beginning of the year the object was to not only re-establish and advance the Wadkin name as a manufacturer and distributor of woodworking machinery but also to provide the marketplace with an authentic source for the provision of spare parts for the large number of machines installed in all parts of the world and to provide the continuity of service contracts and operator training facilities.
A brand new Wadkin AGS 430 Sawbench was the first machine off the assembly line at the new home of Wadkin in Nottingham. This was the first of an initial batch of five AGS 430’s all of which were sold prior to completion.
Following the liquidation of Wadkin Limited earlier this year the intellectual property rights have been purchased by Nottingham based woodworking machinery distributors and manufacturers Daltons.
