Engineering Service and Maintenance Packages

In the Woodworking Industry as in industry in general, ' The Maintenance Plan' often
evolves rather than being consciously developed, resulting in an over dependence upon
breakdown or fixed time maintenance.
In today's high productivity environment where breakdown costs are increasingly
expensive, UltraCare's customers have a need to understand and operate within their
Maintenance Goal the point at which the combined costs of machine maintenance and lost
production are at their optimum lowest.
By opting for one of our service contracts our customers can be assured that they
will benefit from increased quality of output, less down time and an assurance that we
will provide a quality service. As a result our engineering strength we can react
immediately to customers demands and deploy technical assistance at short notice.
How the Service Works

Our engineers conduct a free survey of your site operation including a Health & Safety
assessment and machine condition report. We then discuss your production requirements
and design a maintenance programme around those needs. The programme could involve out
of hours servicing, immediate breakdown response, site based technical assistance,
helpline advice, consignment stock for critical tooling and spare parts or a combined
maintenance and training programme.
As part of this survey, we will advise on production efficiency and quality issues
and also make recommendations on operator training. The proposed schedule will then be
forwarded to you.
Engineers are in constant communication with the central service desk, using the
latest communication and tracking systems. With this control UltraCare is able to
respond to your requirements faster than anyone else in the market place.
