Spindle and router head repairs for Moulders and CNC Routers
UltraCare operates a full repair and rebuilding service for router heads and spindles. As an integral part of our quality control process, all repaired spindles are tested for draw bar tensioning as well as "run outs". All spindles are kept in a specially designed temperature controlled room in order to help maximize spindle performance. We are also able to offer our customer the hire of a multi-drill while the original unit is being repaired.

Service Exchange for Moulders and CNC Routers
To ensure minimum loss of production for our customers we offer spindle and router heads as service exchanges. This is a particularly cost effective method, with most spindle and router head options available ex-stock.

Wadkin Machine Spares
We hold the original drawings for all machines built by Wadkin, as well as machines built by Wadkin subsidiary companies. We are able to offer our customers an on demand service for most spares items as well as the corresponding manuals.

Bandsaw Wheel Overhauls
Worn bandsaw wheels present a potential safety hazard, if the blade is thrown off. Rather than simply supplying a replacement, UltraCare offer a complete overhaul and wheel fitting service. As an integral part of the overhaul, we repaint the wheel to the original specification and check and replace grease and bearings. Wheels are rebalanced to ensure smooth operation, the tyre is bonded onto the wheel and remachined true to the axis of the wheel.
Machine vibration will be reduced and product finish improved. We offer this service for all Wadkin machines as well as machines manufactured by our sister companies. This service is offered to our customers on a service exchange basis and our engineers can re-fit the wheel to the machine as part of an inclusive package.
