Wadkin Sigma
The Wadkin 'Sigma' moulder is a 6 head moulder, suitable for both large and small
sections. The Sigma has a full 305mm (12 inch) wide twin top head capacity.
The machine is easy to set and provides a high quality finish. It is suitable for
both short and long production runs and has a production speed of 6 to 36 metres per
minute.
Equipped with outboard bearings and an inverter drive, it is available with spindle
speeds of 6000 and 8000 rpm. It also has the unique P.H.T. pneumatically lined infeed
drive system with driven bed rollers throughout. It also has short or long infeed
table options.
Wadkin K-Class
The Wadkin 'K' range has an impressive array of standard features. It is a fast
changeover machine, ideal for jobs that benefit from pre-relieving on the first top
head and finishing on the second.
The 'K' range has capacities of 240 and 260 x 130mm, with production speeds of 6 to
28 metres per minute, and is available with either a short or a long infeed table.
