The NZ300 is a fully automatic straight knife grinder that gives long-term grinding accuracy for the toolroom whilst reducing the need for cutter re-sharpening. Simple to operate and truly automatic, the NZ300 incorporates many time saving features which allow the operator to 'set and forget'. It is geared towards large production facilities within sawmilling and moulding applications

Applications

The NZ's high concentric accuracy makes frequent rejointing on a high speed planer moulders possible thereby extending cutter life by minimizing the need for cutter re-sharpening. The machine set-up parameters are aided by computer instruction which maintains and monitors automatically the grinding process.

Grinding Fixture for Limited Projection Tooling
(Serrated and Euro-Pin)

The unique design of the Limited Cutter Projection (LCP) grinding fixture provides the facility to accurately grind Euro Pin / Serrated cutters and chip limiters in one operation. The shaping of chip limiters is completed independently from work on the cutters, minimising lost production. A tandem profile template is used with one profile set back 1.1mm to provide the correct limit projection and comply with current PUWER regulations.
