Wadkin BNL Grinder
The Wadkin Bursgreen Grinder is designed for grinding and shaping planing machine cutters, moulding cutters, chisels, gouges, etc. It will tale grinding wheels up to 10" diameter, 1 1/4" thick; cup grinding wheels up to 5 1/12" diameter, 4" wide; conical gridning wheels or oilstones 2" diameter, and 4 1/2" long. Provision is made for slight hollow grinding to the planing knives.
Specification
BNL - Equipped with cup grinding wheel. Vice to carry the knives has hand operated traverse with screw adjustment to and from the grinding wheel, guard, for sharpening thin or thick planing knives up to 760 mm (30") long. An ordinary abrasive wheel is fitted at the opposite side with an adjustable tool rest and guard, for grinding moulding cutters etc. 0.56 kW (0.75 HP) (3 phase).
Factory Rebuilt
Factory remanufactured equipment from Wadkin is of the very highest standards. Each machine is stripped down from the cutting edge to the machine frame and then reassembled with any worn or defective parts replaced, beds reground, all health and safety aspects fully adhered too and repainted inside and out (in any livery you choose). After comprehensive testing the result is virtually indistinguishable from new.
